Lead Preschool Teacher

Job Description:

As a Lead Preschool Teacher at Carrington Academy, you will be responsible for the coordination of classroom operations, including the implementation of our proprietary curriculum.

Our curriculum is literacy-based and structured, but also purposefully flexible. Teachers are encouraged to be creative and intentional when developing activities, ensuring instructional decisions are based on students' interests and needs.

Our teams collaborate and build relationships with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate classroom operations and implement our proprietary curriculum
• Develop activities that cater to students' interests and needs
• Collaborate with staff members, administration, families, and the community

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Comply with all company and state-specific standards and maintain validation of required credentials for the position
• Comply with all state-specific education requirements
• Must have one of the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • Associate degree including 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or the Human Services field
  • High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of experience with children

Min Hiring Rate: $16.00
