RN 4 South Telemetry Full Time Days

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the 4 South Telemetry unit. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess and reassess patients to identify their physical, psycho-social, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating cultural and ethnic factors, and prioritizing patient care services.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care, utilizing a case management approach.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring patient safety and dignity.
- Participate in patient/family teaching, reviewing educational materials, and coaching nurses and hospital staff on education interventions.
- Respond to emergency situations, following established emergency procedures and practices.
- Maintain knowledge of therapeutic patient care issues/problems, determining measures and interventions to promote, maintain, and/or restore health.
- Current California RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- EKG certification.
- Critical Care Course preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to work in a union environment.
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with a shift of 6:45am - 7:15pm, 12 hours per shift.
