We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry Unit at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
- Assess and respond to patient needs, prioritizing care based on patient acuity and urgency
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating cultural and ethnic factors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Current California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- EKG certification
- Minimum one year recent experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to work in a union environment
This is a full-time position with a 36-hour workweek, working 12-hour shifts from 6:45am to 7:15pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care in a dynamic setting.
