Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Provide strong leadership and guidance to direct reports, ensuring they meet their objectives and maintain a safe working environment.
    • Direct hourly employees' activities, manage tasks, and strive for high-quality production and continuous improvement.
  • Shift Operations
    • Provide shift goals and assignments for each work area/individual during pre-shift meetings.
    • Train and manage training procedures and records for hourly employees.
  • Safety and Quality
    • Be an active safety ambassador, providing guidance and leadership on the floor to promote a safe work environment.
    • Maintain good housekeeping throughout the plant, practicing 6S.
  • Process Control and Optimization
    • Ensure process control and running rate on production lines meet OEE goals.
    • Perform weekly facility audits.
  • Employee Relations and Development
    • Record and manage employee overtime, vacation, and disciplinary records.
    • Provide feedback to employees when disciplinary action is needed.
    • Provide annual reviews to all hourly personnel.
    • Recommend promotions as employees' knowledge and skillsets improve.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Review and confirm ADP timekeeper entries.
    • Direct and manage inventory regarding FIFO and scrap reduction.
Requirements
  • Strong Safety Acumen
    • Ability to recognize hazards and unsafe behaviors.
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead teams and provide support to achieve targeted metrics.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Previous supervisory experience is a plus (internal plant production will be considered).
    • Understanding of compounding and 3DP manufacturing and blending processes.
    • Strong computer skills, including Rockware, word, excel, etc.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Reliability, dependability, and attendance record must be excellent.
    • Ability to handle multi-task environment while being goal-oriented.
    • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Must be willing to work any shift and be available to cover for vacations and illnesses.
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work under stressful conditions at times.
    • Active member of safety team/continuous improvement team.
    • CPR and First Aid certification a plus.
Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $73,050 - $91,312. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
