Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at the Lebanon Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. As a key member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support.

About the Role:

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is responsible for delivering evidence-based treatments under the supervision of an occupational therapist. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patients' functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive treatment sessions to patients, including exercises, activities, and interventions designed to improve physical function and mobility
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and goals
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans that align with patients' needs and goals
  • Provide feedback and documentation of patients' progress to occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in interprofessional collaboration to ensure seamless delivery of care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient interactions and treatment outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments through ongoing education and training

Requirements:

  • Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) licensure and registration
  • Valid professional license and registration for state of practice
  • Experience working in long-term care and/or geriatric care environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
