Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our inpatient academic hospital setting at D-H Lebanon-MHMH. This is a full-time, benefited position working 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays.

About the Position

This role provides treatments and education to patients and families under the supervision of the licensed occupational therapist. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to help patients in a hospital setting and work collaboratively within a team. They are dependable, have good bedside manner, and possess strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provides treatments and education to patients and families under the supervision of the licensed occupational therapist.
  • Collaborates with occupational therapist and team members regarding recommendations and discharge needs of patients.
  • Completes and maintains necessary documentation on services provided in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant degree required.
  • New Hampshire licensure required.
  • BLS certified.
  • Successful passage of national certification examination required.
Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary, shift differentials for weekend shifts at 15%, and holiday pay at one-half base pay in addition to regular pay. Additionally, we offer professional development opportunities, including participate in-services, student fieldwork/observation program, and quality improvement projects as assigned.
