POSITION SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, the Store Worker is responsible for stocking and maintaining cleanliness at a retail location, primarily focused on the resale of products. Utilizing non-motorized equipment, the Store Worker I will manage the movement of merchandise for display and resale, following a designated placement system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Stock merchandise on shelves.
2. Organize misplaced items.
3. Dispose of excess and damaged products, debris, and packaging materials.
4. Arrange merchandise for an appealing and marketable presentation.
5. Rotate stock to ensure freshness and compliance with sale dates.
6. Remove outdated or damaged products.
7. Return surplus merchandise to storage.
8. Clean and dust shelves and display fixtures using standard retail techniques.
9. Conduct wet or dry cleaning as required.
10. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product location and selection.
11. May operate manual pallet jacks or carts.
12. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to follow instructions and established procedures;
Proficient in using appropriate tools and equipment;
Flexibility in schedule and tasks;
Availability for evening shifts;
Basic mathematical skills for inventory reporting;
Ability to interpret stock and shelf labels;
Collaborative mindset for working with management, colleagues, and customers;
Strong time management skills and adaptability to changing priorities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employees must be capable of performing the following physical tasks for extended periods, with or without assistance:

- Pulling and pushing loads up to 75 pounds
- Grasping both small and large objects
- Climbing or standing on ladders and step stools
- Coordinating skills for product placement and rotation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The role is conducted in a retail, warehouse, or distribution setting, where employees may encounter equipment noise and varying weather conditions.
