Role Overview

ExxonMobil is seeking exceptional candidates to join our Supply Chain team and contribute to the success of our expanding Product Solutions division. The Supply Coordination team plays a crucial role in ensuring that refineries, trading partners, and customers receive a consistent supply of crude oil while supporting revenue growth and minimizing costs throughout the supply chain. Proven performance in this role can lead to a career path with increasing responsibilities and leadership opportunities within the Supply Chain or other business lines across ExxonMobil.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively coordinate and communicate with traders, optimizers, and refineries to forecast and plan crude oil movement schedules in a dynamic environment.
  • Utilize commercial acumen and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
  • Develop and implement schedules for crude oil transportation via pipeline, marine, rail, and/or truck based on production forecasts, refinery requirements, and trading agreements.
  • Nominate transportation needs to carriers and engage with third parties daily to facilitate crude movements.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet agreed targets while ensuring reliability to refineries and fulfilling contractual obligations.
  • Support the development and execution of cost-effective strategies to address planned and unplanned supply disruptions.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of optimization, logistics, market dynamics, operational costs, and contract stipulations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on ExxonMobil's supply chain capabilities and limitations in the assigned area.
Candidate Profile

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to scheduling or coordinating bulk liquid or gas movements, refining, pipeline, or chemical operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP, Analysis for Office, and/or Tableau is advantageous.
  • A strong desire to pursue a long-term career in scheduling.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding communication skills, focused on customer satisfaction and relationship building.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.
  • Able to work effectively with diverse teams and manage external relationships.
  • Proficiency in SAP is a plus.
