Key Responsibilities:
Document and execute tasks as specified on repair orders, adhering to all dealership and manufacturer standards.
Drain and refill oil in the crankcase, replacing oil and air filters as needed.
Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as necessary.
Check tire pressure and inflate as required.
Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
Account for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
Utilize all tools and equipment safely.
Perform tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership protocols.
Conduct test drives and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are informed about any additional services required.
Provide estimates for the time needed for extra repairs.
Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
Desire to learn and improve
Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair preferred
Strong physical dexterity for handling tools
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Punctual and dependable
High school diploma or equivalent
Outstanding customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency
Positive and friendly demeanor, along with a customer-focused mindset
Enjoyment of a fast-paced work environment
Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications
Able to operate electronic diagnostic tools
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
