Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team in the NICU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric critical care and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management and self-care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in pediatric critical care
  • Current BLS certification
  • Recent experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care
  • Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
  • Flexibility to float to other critical care units as needed
