Critical Care Nurse

As a Critical Care Nurse at Carilion Clinic, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU/PCU environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, utilizing critical thinking and delegation skills to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Conduct age-specific admission and ongoing assessments, documenting and using them to develop a plan of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to develop, implement, and evaluate an interdisciplinary plan of care.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately and document them using automated computer systems.
- Graduate of a professional nursing program from an accredited college or eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
