Position Overview:
The Product Development Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our product innovation projects are executed within the designated timelines and budget constraints. This role encompasses the development of both new products and enhancements to existing lines. The successful candidate will leverage established product development methodologies while continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guaranteeing that product development projects are delivered in a timely, complete, and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining adherence to budgetary guidelines throughout the development process.
  • Acting as the primary liaison among Vendors, Customers, external Testing Facilities, and internal teams, while adhering to the product development framework.
  • Leading the formation and motivation of a dedicated 'development team' for each significant product initiative.
  • Contributing to the formulation of the initial product charter, ensuring favorable return on investment, crafting product strategy, designing and developing prototypes (including tooling), overseeing prototype evaluations, scheduling plant trial runs, and preparing marketing materials for product launch.
  • Ensuring compliance with documented procedures and confirming that products meet or exceed predefined specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in technical design or applications engineering.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated individual who requires minimal oversight.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
