Staff Pharmacist Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a critical role in supporting the Pharmacy Manager and leading your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Patient Safety: Ensuring the safe handling and dispensing of medications
  • Pharmacy Professional Practice: Maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice and adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Regulatory Requirements: Staying up-to-date with changing regulations and ensuring compliance
  • Quality Assurance: Monitoring and improving pharmacy operations to ensure quality care
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to patients and customers
  • Personnel Management: Leading and developing your Pharmacy Support Staff
  • Inventory Management: Managing pharmacy inventory and supplies
  • Financial Profitability: Contributing to the financial success of the pharmacy
  • Loss Prevention: Identifying and mitigating potential losses
  • Workflow Management: Optimizing pharmacy operations to improve efficiency

You'll also be responsible for:

Required Qualifications

  • Active Pharmacy License: In the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization Certification: Through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Free of Pending Felony Charges or Convictions: For criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $78.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
