Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bus Driver to join our team at Bloomington, MN Public Schools. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, as well as providing excellent customer service to our students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff, ensuring a positive and safe experience for all.
  • Follow all school district policies and procedures, including those related to student safety and confidentiality.
  • Assist with pre-trip inspections and maintenance of the bus, as directed by Dispatch.
  • Communicate effectively with Dispatch and other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class B driver's license with passenger and school bus endorsements.
  • Ability to obtain a school bus physical and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
