Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our high-volume ophthalmic practice, providing quality and compassionate care to each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and document patient history
  • Determine visual acuity
  • Perform automated refraction
  • Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by physician
  • Perform office duties and clinical tasks, including entering data into our electronic medical record system
  • Provide patient services and maintain equipment and instruments
Requirements
  • Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as needed
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to seek instruction in areas where you are not knowledgeable
  • Ability to recognize inconsistencies
