Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our high-volume ophthalmic practice, providing quality and compassionate care to each patient.
Responsibilities- Obtain and document patient history
- Determine visual acuity
- Perform automated refraction
- Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by physician
- Perform office duties and clinical tasks, including entering data into our electronic medical record system
- Provide patient services and maintain equipment and instruments
- Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as needed
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to seek instruction in areas where you are not knowledgeable
- Ability to recognize inconsistencies
