About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team at Lloyd Products Inc. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Preparation
    • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
    • Oversee accounting procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Assist with budgeting and forecasting, and provide advice on general finance matters
    • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and annual financial forecasts
    • Provide monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams
  • Accounting Operations
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure that there is a redundant process backup in place for every critical operation
    • Monitor and analyze cash flow from operations daily
  • Inventory and Cost Analysis
    • Conduct inventory and cost analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Internal Controls and Compliance
    • Oversee and maintain internal controls and ensure safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and project budgets and expenditures
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required
    • 1-3 years experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analysis role preferred
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills required
    • Experience with bookkeeping, General Ledger, AP/AR, Excel, and QuickBooks
    • Proficient in MS Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to read and analyze financial reports
