Key Responsibilities:
- Project Scope: Calculate and confirm boundaries for various surveys, including subdivisions and easements. Draft metes and bounds descriptions to accurately identify parcels. Investigate legal documents to ascertain parcel boundaries and right-of-way limits. Utilize Autodesk and Trimble software to process field data and interpret construction plans for staking purposes.
- Communication: Engage with client representatives to facilitate project coordination. Provide information to supervisors and colleagues through various communication channels. Represent the organization to external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Prepare progress reports and assist in job planning and work order assignments.
- Mentorship: Guide junior staff to enhance their knowledge and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement operational procedures for surveying. Conduct inspections to ensure that field survey activities meet project specifications and quality standards.
