Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Scope: Calculate and confirm boundaries for subdivisions, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and easements. Draft metes and bounds descriptions to delineate parcels with bearings and distances. Investigate deeds and other legal documents to ascertain parcel boundaries and right-of-way limits for subdivision plats. Utilize Autodesk and Trimble software to process and convert field data. Interpret construction plans for effective construction staking.
  • Communication: Collaborate with client representatives to facilitate project activities in line with the company's service scope. Provide information to supervisors, colleagues, and subordinates through various communication channels. Engage with external stakeholders, representing the organization to clients, the public, and government entities.
  • Project Management: Support project managers and engineers in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, service proposals, and cost estimates. Generate progress reports for management and clients. Assist in preparing job plans and organizing field/office work assignments.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor staff to promote knowledge development, adherence to state and federal regulations, and compliance with company and client policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement operational procedures for surveying. Conduct Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspections of field survey activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
