Position Summary

The Laser Print Operator is responsible for the setup, adjustment, operation, and troubleshooting of digital laser printing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimize waste and optimize the use of raw materials.
  • Execute laser printing tasks according to daily production schedules.
  • Manage multiple printers effectively throughout the assigned shift.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the work order system.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards for laser printing and finished products.
  • Assist team members in meeting production deadlines.
  • Coordinate service requests with equipment manufacturers as needed.
  • Keep accurate logs of printed jobs.
  • Support distribution tasks when required.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of preprint materials in the production area.
Physical Requirements:

This role involves standing for more than two-thirds of the workday and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Close vision and color differentiation are essential for quality control. Frequent use of hands for handling and manipulating materials is necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in laser printing or equivalent training.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with Xerox iGen digital printers and/or Xerox DP series printers, along with strong skills in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

Additional Information:
  • The hourly wage for this position is $23.72.
