Position Title: Logistics Associate

Position Summary: Aerotek is seeking dedicated individuals for a logistics role at a distribution center. This facility specializes in transporting a diverse range of products, including recreational vehicles, food, and beverages. Candidates should possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts. Attention to detail is essential, as employees will be responsible for accurately reading shipping documents to ensure materials are loaded onto the correct vehicles safely and efficiently. The role involves handling heavy items, with the potential for lifting up to 75 lbs, which will be managed through team efforts.


Work Environment

The logistics center is well-maintained and organized, featuring both a live loading dock and a secondary area for reserve materials. New employees will initially work under supervision in the secondary loading area for training before transitioning to the live loading dock upon demonstrating readiness. The facility operates with a fleet of approximately 30-40 forklifts, and employees are expected to maintain a high level of safety awareness while working at a brisk pace to fulfill orders.

Role Responsibilities

The primary duties include general warehouse tasks and operating forklifts. Employees will be expected to complete picking sheets efficiently within an 8-hour shift. Overtime opportunities may be available for those who meet productivity targets.
