Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at DHD Consulting. As a key member of our construction team, you will work closely with the project manager to support the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist the project manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, track expenses, and report on key metrics to the project manager and stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications and safety standards.
  • Language Support: Translate in English/Korean and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and project teams.
  • Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the project manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining project files.
  • Professional Development: Develop a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a construction-related role preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual in both Korean and English, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Personal Qualities: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges, valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
