KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proposal Development:

  • Craft detailed and persuasive proposals through thorough analysis and collaboration with sales representatives, machine builders, and design engineers.
  • Devise innovative technical solutions customized to fulfill client needs.
  • Calculate comprehensive feeding solutions inclusive of all enhancements.
  • Prepare professional and polished proposals, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
  • Discuss and refine proposals with the sales team, making necessary adjustments.

Project Management:

  • Oversee complete project responsibility, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
  • Address claims and proactively manage issues that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate internal escalation processes in response to project challenges.
  • Coordinate project-related meetings, collaborating closely with relevant departmental personnel.
  • Lead coordination and acceptance procedures both internally and at client locations.

Sales Assistance:

  • Engage in joint customer visits and consultations during the inquiry and conceptual phases.
  • Clearly communicate solution concepts to clients, ensuring thorough understanding.
  • Provide technical support during online meetings, serving as a key resource for the operations team.
  • Act as the primary contact for operational/application inquiries, delivering prompt and knowledgeable assistance.

This position requires a proactive approach, encompassing meticulous proposal creation, comprehensive project management, and dedicated sales support. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing feeding solutions, crafting and communicating persuasive proposals, ensuring smooth project execution, and providing essential technical support to both sales and operations teams.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

The ideal candidate will possess a robust educational background, technical acumen, and a proven track record in the feeding and automation sectors. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and with external partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or relevant experience of two to three years.
  • Proficient in project management with a solid understanding of project control, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions including design, assembly, manufacturing, and Quality Management (QM) to achieve project goals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in delivering impactful presentations and effective negotiation skills focused on project security.
  • Experience in customer engagement, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Decisive problem-solver, adaptable to changing project requirements and dynamic work environments.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours to meet project demands and support international collaboration.
  • Proficient in standard office software applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven Key Account Leadership skills, ideally within the automation sector.
  • Experience in the automation/machine building industry.
  • Familiarity with CAD-CAM software is advantageous.
  • Experience in feeding technology is a plus.
  • Validated ability to create and present compelling presentations to advance opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; demonstrating strong initiative and sound judgment.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language proficiency preferred for effective global communication.

The salary range for this role is $73,000 to $110,283 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to the position.
