We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at System One Holdings, LLC. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the transfer of new electro-mechanical product designs from Research and Development to Manufacturing, as well as supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Repair Technicians to ensure effective and efficient troubleshooting and repair processes.
- Recommend Design Changes to improve product quality, performance, cost, and reliability.
- Develop and Test Prototypes for new product development.
- Troubleshoot Complex Electrical Problems and implement solutions.
- Develop and Maintain Technical Documentation, including manuals, test procedures, and Bill of Materials.
- Design and Develop PC Boards, electrical schematics, and complete assemblies.
- Develop Test Plans for hardware and software verification and validation.
- Perform Verification and Validation Testing for hardware and software.
- Implement Process Control Techniques and procedures for manufacturing.
- Develop Assembly Procedures and work instructions for all phases of assembly.
- Manage the Transfer of PC Boards to a Contract Manufacturer for manufacturing and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong Communication and Technical Writing Skills.
- Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills.
- Proficiency in Using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Processor Emulators/Debuggers.
- Ability to Prioritize Effectively and Work on Concurrent Projects.
- Proactive and Constructive Approach to Process or Product Improvement.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team.
- Familiarity with ESD Prevention, IPC-A-610/J-STD Workmanship Standards, and Quality Management System Standards (ISO 9001 and 13485, and FDA standards knowledge and experience are desirable).
- Proficiency in Using Basic Electronic Test and Measurement Equipment (Calipers, Multimeters, Power Supplies, etc.).
- Ability to Read and Interpret Mechanical Drawings and Electrical Schematics.
- Travel and Extended Workdays as Required to Support Manufacturing Operations.
- Ability to Lift Up to 30 Pounds Unassisted and sit or stand for up to 8 hours uninterrupted.
- BS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years' experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
