We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Graniterock. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with safety initiatives and protocols is essential for this position. You will work closely with our project teams to develop and implement strategies that minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • You will be responsible for managing project finances, including developing and sharing cost reports with the project team, and assisting with financial forecasting.
  • Operational tasks such as updating resource schedules, project schedules, performing quantity take-offs, and working with project teams to develop work plans will also be part of your duties.
  • You will be required to understand and follow all contract documents and notify clients of changed conditions or added work that affects project cost or schedule.
  • Apart from administrative project tasks, you will be responsible for reviewing/approving time cards, submittals, RFI's, and owner/subcontractor correspondence.
  • You will represent the company during client and project meetings, ensuring effective communication and building constructive working relationships with customers and subcontractors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
  • 0 - 2 years of construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of CADD or similar program (HCSS Heavy Job)
  • Working knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawing, and specifications
  • Ability to perform trigonometric calculations and assume responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

This position is a 'safety sensitive' role subject to random drug and alcohol testing. The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
