About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at CHI Mercy Health Valley City, part of CommonSpirit Health. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Quality Assurance Program for the department in collaboration with the Medical Laboratory Director.
  • Develop and maintain a service-oriented approach in performing duties with fellow employees, patients, medical staff, and visitors.
  • Have operational responsibility for the clinical/technical aspects of a section of the laboratory.
  • Perform a variety of chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic procedures of a moderately and highly complex nature, following established standards and practices to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related science from an accredited school.
  • Current certification as one of the following: Med Tech (Medical Tech), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), Medical Lab Technologist (MLT).
  • Certification by ASCP or NCA.
  • Licensed Med Tech in the state of North Dakota.
