Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various clinical laboratory procedures under limited supervision. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures, including specimen collection, testing, and quality control

• Operate laboratory equipment, including calibrating and maintaining instruments

• Analyze and report laboratory results, identifying any unusual problems or quality control issues

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and other laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely results

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field

• MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) certification or certification eligible

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
