We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Open Sky Community Services. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with individuals and their collaterals to create and implement employment and/or educational treatment goals
  • Develop skills in resume writing, interview preparation, completing job applications, and registering for school
  • Assist in obtaining vocational, educational, and skills training opportunities for individuals
  • Help individuals find stable, integrated employment opportunities based on their interests, skills, abilities, and needs
  • Develop generalist knowledge in other disciplines represented on the team
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, respect, and desire to see individuals thrive in stable educational, vocational, and/or employment opportunities
  • Experience working in vocational assessment/rehabilitation, job exploration, or similar case management field
  • Experience working with individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
