Job Summary:

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of California San Diego is seeking a full-time clinical speech pathologist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services to patients with voice, swallowing, breathing, and cough disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with voice, swallowing, and breathing disorders.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to patients, including voice, swallowing, and breathing exercises.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
  • Board certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Competency in voice, swallowing, and breathing disorders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a large healthcare environment.
  • Interest in clinical research and program development.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary range for this position is $106,885 - $141,065, with a hourly equivalent of $67.56. The University of California offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
