Position Overview

Join our team as a Vehicle Test Operator where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and safety of our vehicles. This position offers a competitive salary of $20.40 per hour and requires flexibility in working hours.

Work Schedule

This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, alternating between two shifts to promote fairness:

  • A Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • B Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM
Compensation Details

In addition to the base pay, we offer:

  • Out-of-state Travel Pay: An additional $5.00 per hour for shift hours.
  • Daily Per Diem: Approximately $90.00 per day.
  • Company-provided accommodations: Hotels for overnight travel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate designated vehicles on assigned routes, covering significant mileage.
  • Navigate through diverse driving environments, including highways and rural roads.
  • Perform standard driving duties without the need for extreme vehicle testing.
  • Accurately document and gather data while monitoring testing instruments.
  • Collaborate effectively with a partner, comprising one driver and one navigator/data collector.
  • Adhere to established schedules and routes provided via GPS.
  • Commence all driving assignments from the designated starting location unless traveling overnight.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Possess a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for overnight assignments, adapting to various driving conditions.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods, ranging from 6 1⁄2 to 7 1⁄2 hours daily, five days a week.
  • Demonstrated reliability and a solid work history.
  • Mechanically inclined with a proactive mindset.
  • Capable of making informed decisions while on the road.
