Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Heirlooms Intake Coordinator. This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, organization, and flow of donations that come through the back door/garage area. The successful candidate will be the anchor within the Receiving/Sorting area for volunteers, prioritizing and delegating tasks to ensure the retail floor is restocked each shift.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain a safe and organized environment in the receiving and sorting area
  2. Assess and fill the retail floor with clothing to support sales goals
  3. Train volunteers to ensure continuity between shifts
  4. Coordinate decisions on items to repurpose, pack, and store or pass on with managers
  5. Responsible for maintaining sorting room supplies at adequate levels
Requirements
  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a flexible manner
  • Desire to make a difference in the world
