Job Title: Heirlooms Intake Coordinator

At HopeWest, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Heirlooms Intake Coordinator. This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, organization, and flow of donations that come through the back door/garage area.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a safe and organized environment in the receiving and sorting area
  2. Focus on the back of the store and be the anchor within the Receiving/Sorting area for volunteers
  3. Prioritize and delegate tasks to ensure the retail floor is restocked each shift
  4. Assess and fill the retail floor with clothing to support sales goals
  5. Assess processes in the sorting room for ease of operations
  6. Train volunteers to ensure continuity between shifts
  7. Coordinate decisions on items to repurpose, pack, and store or pass-on with managers
  8. Responsible for maintaining sorting room supplies at adequate levels
Requirements:
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Enjoy working with people
  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a flexible manner
  • A person who wants a job that makes a difference in the world
