Psychologist (CAT-5 Program Manager)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our team as a Program Manager for the Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (MHRRTP) at the Martinsburg, WV, VA Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day activities of the MHRRTP program, including supervising staff and overseeing administrative and programmatic resources.
- Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures to meet program goals and VHA policy requirements.
- Monitor outcomes using data-driven quality assurance processes and implement strategies for improvement based on data analysis.
- Provide clinical supervision to trainees and staff, including graduate and post-graduate students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows.
- Collaborate with other Mental Health and non-Mental Health programs as needed to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) or the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS).
- At least three years of experience as a professional psychologist, with at least one year equivalent to the GS-13 grade level.
- Ability to organize work, set priorities, delegate tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize evidence-based practices and clinical practice guidelines appropriately.
- Ability to deal effectively with individuals or groups representing widely divergent backgrounds, interests, and points of view.
- Ability to translate management goals and objectives into well-coordinated and controlled work operations.
- Competitive salary and regular salary increases.
- 37-50 days of annual paid time off per year, including 13 days of sick leave and 11 paid Federal holidays.
- Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior work experience or military service experience.
- Parental leave: up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.
- Child care subsidy: full-time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum.
- Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA.
- Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement).
