About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Specialist to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a key member of our Service Center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a wide range of services and duties in our Automotive Service Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers
  • Repair and install tires, including balancing and rotating
  • Install batteries, head lamps, and other basic automotive parts
  • Perform oil changes and brake system repairs
  • Repair starting and charging systems, steering and suspension, and shock/strut installation
  • Perform alignments and install trailer hitches and wiring
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have great communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
  • Ability to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior auto repair experience is preferred, but not required
