Culinary Specialist - Enrich Our Residents' Lives

Seneca Place is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Culinary Specialist to become an integral part of our vibrant team. We are in search of a culinary expert who can prepare delightful and healthful meals that enhance the well-being of our residents.

As a Culinary Specialist at Seneca Place, you will be the cornerstone of our kitchen, crafting culinary delights that nourish both the body and spirit. This role provides you with the chance to demonstrate your culinary talents and contribute to a positive dining atmosphere for our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cooking with enthusiasm: Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals in accordance with recipes and dietary requirements.
  • Maintaining cleanliness: Ensure a pristine kitchen environment, complying with rigorous food safety protocols.
  • Team collaboration: Work alongside the dining services team to facilitate seamless meal service.
  • Inventory management: Assist in overseeing food inventory and placing orders as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in cooking within a healthcare or food service environment is advantageous.
  • A talent for following recipes and making necessary adjustments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • A positive demeanor and a passion for teamwork.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including:
    • 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
    • 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
    • 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
