Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Night Manager to join our team at Compass Group Ireland. As a Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our kitchens and service counters, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring that it meets our quality and presentation expectations.
- Team Supervision: Supervise our culinary and catering teams to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
- Operations Management: Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Communication and Liaison: Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, and liaise between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure that we exceed expectations.
- Training and Development: Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure that everyone can excel in their role and develop their skills and knowledge.
- Health and Safety: Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of two years of catering experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving sales growth.
- Qualifications: Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Skills: Brilliant financial acumen, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Personal Qualities: Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and develop their career.
