Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our dynamic team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 19-bay PACU, which is equipped to handle a variety of surgeries, including Da Vinci, Trauma, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, ENT, Vascular, Pediatrics, Urology, Plastics, and General Surgeries.
Responsibilities- Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
- Participate in a teamwork environment, helping everyone in the department to achieve our goals.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Participate in On-Call rotation with a call back time of 30 minutes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience in PACU required.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions or Current Compact Multistate License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification.
- PALS certifications preferred.
