As a Registered Nurse in our PACU, you will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes patient-centered care and fosters a culture of excellence. Our 19-bed PACU is dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients recovering from various surgeries, including Da Vinci, Trauma, Ortho, Cardiothoracic, and General Surgeries.
Responsibilities- Monitor and record patient conditions, utilizing computerized documentation systems to ensure accurate and timely communication.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines.
- Participate in on-call rotations, with a 30-minute callback time, to ensure seamless patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience in PACU required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Board of Health Professions or Current Compact Multistate License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certification
- PALS certifications preferred
