Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse RN PRN Opportunity

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse RN PRN to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will perform maternal assessments, provide appropriate interventions for patients, and use evidence-based practices to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform fetal assessments and provide appropriate interventions
- Use appropriate interventions for OB pain management and perform/monitor OB anesthesia/analgesia
- Demonstrate support of Lactation Services
- Perform Labor and Delivery surgical procedures
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Respond to acute changes in unit and patient conditions
- Ensure medications are administered according to hospital policy
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- At least two years of Labor and Delivery RN experience
