Job Description

BryceTech is seeking a highly skilled Ground Systems Engineer to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) in developing and operating the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the development of satellite system requirements and ensure they meet SDA's architecture needs.
  • Develop enterprise, system, functional, performance, and interface requirements, considering the impact on the ground system.
  • Work with development teams to ensure all design equities are in working order and translate well to inform testing and checkout.
  • Assess technical maturity and risk of necessary changes and updates to ground systems to enable overall architecture capabilities.
  • Oversee integration and test of satellites into the SDA's ground system network design and with other satellite vendors to create a mesh network.
  • Maintain active awareness of baseline requirements, interfaces, and integration touchpoints to ensure the system progresses through all milestones.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to identify and respond to system gaps proactively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (Masters degree in STEM field preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years experience with satellite and ground systems.
  • Technical and analytic understanding of satellite and ground system interaction.
  • Experience in systems engineering.
  • Experience with DoD and/or IC customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility (Active TS/SCI preferred).
