Job Summary

The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a highly skilled and organized Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our inventory, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring that all items are properly stored and maintained.
  • Work closely with the accounting and management teams to set budgets, monitor spending, and process payroll and other expenses.
  • Prepare and send communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, and reports.
  • Plan, schedule, and promote office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
  • Write and edit documents, including letters, reports, and instructional documents.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
  • Manage accounts and perform light bookkeeping.
  • Make travel arrangements, including booking flights, cars, and making hotel and restaurant reservations.
  • Generate reports, transcribe minutes from meetings, create presentations, and conduct research.
  • Anticipate the needs of others to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
  • Oversee facilities services and maintenance activities.
  • Organize and supervise other office activities, including recycling, renovations, event planning, and blood drives.
  • Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Track and issue uniforms for all employees within the warehouse.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Knowledge of JDE, BFC, AS400, Concur, OnBase, and Dayforce is a plus.
  • Multilingual may be preferred or required.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
  • A team player with leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years' experience in a high-level management position with P&L responsibility.
