Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors and staff, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines, ensuring the safety of our donors and maintaining a clean and professional work environment.
- Work closely with your management team to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and problem-solve with your colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
