Job Overview

The Application Administrator is a dedicated and skilled IT professional responsible for managing and supporting client applications and databases. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Oversee and utilize proprietary automation tools.
  • Administer a diverse range of applications and their databases, including troubleshooting, installation, updates, and maintenance of both accounting and non-accounting software.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows Server and Office, including file permissions, server performance, and related issues.
  • Facilitate the integration of client applications into the Cloud.
  • Complete assigned tasks as part of various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist Client Success Managers with urgent requests.
  • Offer constructive feedback for process improvements during projects.
  • Act as an escalation point for technical issues, ensuring thorough troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Participate in specialized teams to address and resolve trending issues.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Rightworks' procedures and policies.
  • Manage multiple support tickets effectively.
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Provide advanced technical support for cloud servers and applications.
  • Instill confidence in clients regarding Rightworks' infrastructure and processes.
  • Deliver training sessions to team members and peers as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between product vendor support and clients.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as directed by management.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation and best practices.
  • Be flexible with work hours to accommodate after-hours requests.
  • Regularly update leadership on task statuses and ticket resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in supporting Windows-based applications and systems.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as Citrix and Microsoft.
  • Experience with SQL and database administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Windows scripting (Powershell, CMD) is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze situations critically and develop well-reasoned solutions.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration.
  • Desire to learn and adapt to Rightworks' technologies and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (MCP, CCA) are a plus.
