Requirements for this Role:

  • A minimum of one year of grooming experience or completion of a grooming program
  • Familiarity with various dog breeds, care protocols, and grooming tools
  • Physical capability to lift up to 70 pounds and endurance to stand for extended periods
  • Dependable transportation

Ideal Candidate:
We seek a skilled canine groomer who possesses a passion for dog grooming. An effective Canine Grooming Specialist is knowledgeable, observant, patient, flexible, and a devoted dog enthusiast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grooming in accordance with Scenthound standards.
  • Specialize in uniform puppy cuts with a tidy finish.
  • Foster an environment that encourages learning, open dialogue, and collaboration.
  • Recognize when assistance is required and offer support to maintain the schedule.
  • Ensure the safety of both dogs and team members at all times.
  • Follow Scenthound's sanitation and cleaning protocols.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by the Scenter Manager.
