Senior Care Professional

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Senior Care Professional, you will be responsible for encouraging and supporting individuals to lead fulfilling and independent lifestyles, focusing on empowerment, awareness, and inclusion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, feeding, taking medications, and Range of Motion (ROM) exercises
- Collaborating with residents to develop treatment and behavior plans, and goal building and achievement
- Teaching and modeling appropriate social and independent living skills
- Actively participating in resident, family, team, and staff meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent degree
- One year experience providing direct care with people who have cognitive or developmental disabilities preferred
- Enthusiasm, motivation, open-mindedness, creativity, and the desire to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and sound judgment
- Ability to operate basic computer applications
- A valid driver's license, access to an operational and insured vehicle, and willingness to use it to transport clients
Estimated salary: $18.50/hour based on industry standards.
