Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Care Professional to join our team at Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. in the United States, Mexico, or Puerto Rico.

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about animal care and want to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients and outstanding customer service to their owners.

As a Veterinary Care Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and health of our patients, while also promoting a positive and welcoming experience for our clients.

  • You will work closely with our veterinarians and other healthcare team members to provide high-quality medical care and support.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, as well as communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • You will assist with routine and emergency appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
  • You will participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college degree in a relevant field, such as veterinary technology or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience as a veterinary technician or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for animal care and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
