Job Summary

We are seeking a Staff Superintendent to assist the superintendent with project execution, safety, and quality throughout preconstruction, construction, and close-out activities. The successful candidate will have recently graduated from an applicable trade school or bachelor's program and have 0-3 years of relevant construction experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with pre-construction activities, including reviewing plans and specifications, conducting pre-construction/safety meetings, and implementing the Four Point Quality Control Plan.
  • Establish and verify quality control programs, establish and maintain safety programs, and conduct daily inspections.
  • Oversee subcontractor labor forces, schedule and coordinate inspections and testing, and indoctrinate all new employees and visitors to the site.
  • Schedule and coordinate punch list work, coordinate the timely completion of as-builts, and review and hand-deliver close-out documents to the Project Manager.
Requirements
  • Recently graduated from an applicable trade school or bachelor's program within the last year.
  • 0-3 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Procedural knowledge of construction trades.
  • Completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety & Health training within the last 5 years or can complete within 6 weeks of employment.
  • Current First aid/CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in program management software such as Procore.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Intermediate proficiency in oral and written communication.
  • Intermediate proficiency in problem solving.
  • Fluent in the English language.
