Job Overview

BMW of North Haven is seeking a highly skilled Parts Counter Associate to join our team. As a liaison between customers and parts personnel, you will be responsible for stocking parts, assisting in sales and inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take customer orders and answer queries over the phone, interact directly with customers, technicians or in person as required
  • Assist customers in selecting the correct parts/accessories they need
  • Provide exceptional customer service daily
  • Inspect all parts for defects and ensure quality
  • Verify order accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Stock, organize, and rotate all merchandise
  • Maintain cleanliness of the parts counter
  • Perform daily tasks assigned by the Parts Manager

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous Parts Counter experience (5 years minimum)
  • Knowledge of automobile parts and inventory
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organizational and problem solving skills
  • Be dependable, reliable and have a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and move product items up to 60 pounds
