As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in promoting the school readiness of Head Start children by providing technical assistance, mentoring, and training to our staff and agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance and mentoring to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
  • Develop and implement internal support plans to address children's challenging behaviors and sensory needs.
  • Collaborate with the VPK/SR Supervisor to implement Head Start and State Pre-Kindergarten school readiness programs.
  • Supervise Center Directors and ensure adequate staffing at all center locations.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff in implementing curriculum/individualization plans and ongoing assessments.
  • Manage the curriculum implementation county-wide for the Grantee and ensure required assessments for children and outcomes reporting.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate or advanced degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Five years of supervisory experience in early childhood education, with some experience in financial management and budgeting preferred.
  • Previous Head Start/Early Head Start experience is a plus.
  • Preschool CLASS Certification within 6 months of hire and maintain certification/reliability renewals annually.
  • Infant/Toddler CLASS Certification within 6 months of hire and maintain certification/reliability renewals annually.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR within six months of hire.
