Position Summary
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a crucial role as a member of the healthcare team, actively participating in the treatment of patients experiencing medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing stabilization and intervention techniques in accordance with established protocols.
2. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
3. Maintain compliance with educational and skill requirements as set forth by the Medical Director.
4. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisory staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of an accredited EMT program is mandatory.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- Valid certification as an EMT in the state of North Carolina is essential.
