Personal Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Vitality Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the Role:
As a Personal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Develop and implement personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each resident
- Observe and report any changes in a resident's condition to the nursing staff
- Participate in onboarding, annual, and in-service training sessions to ensure ongoing education and skill development
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations
- Meet state or provincial health-related requirements
